Shri Chandreshwar Bhoothnath Temple (Paroda Temple)

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this over 2500 year old deity is famous for its rock-cut Vedic sanctum and panoramic views of the surrounding lush valleys.

  • 20 minute drive to the base of the hill, then a hike up granite steps to the shrine
  • Best visited early morning for misty views, or on a full-moon night for the unique moonlight illumination of the Linga
St. Alex Church

Originally built in 1597, it ranks among the oldest remaining churches in the Salcete region. The current layout showcases a beautiful blend of European Baroque and Goan-Indian craftsmanship.

  • 5 minute drive, located in the Curtorim Bazar
  • Daily church services are conducted here and visitors are welcome to attend
Rachol Seminary

A 400-year-old diocesan major seminary located in the village of Rachol, known as one of the oldest functioning theological institutions.

Menezes Braganza House

A magnificent 17th-century Indo-Portuguese mansion located in the historic village of Chandor, South Goa. Spanning roughly 10,000 square meters along the village square, it is celebrated as the largest colonial-era residential mansion of its kind in Goa.

Margao Market

South Goa's largest and most vibrant commercial labyrinth. Located in the heart of Madgaon, this historic bazaar offers an authentic, raw slice of daily Goan life filled with intense colors, aromas, and traditional architecture.

  • Easy to get turned around — don't hesitate to ask friendly locals for directions

Chapel Monte Walk

A gentle climb from The Lookout up to the Chapel Monte — a lovely village walk or bike ride you can set off on directly from the property.

  • If staying on a Sunday, you can attend mass at the chapel
Zuari River Walk

Take the road to the right of the SBI branch on the main road to walk or bike down to the edge of the Zuari river.
